It's not China, that's how north eastern indians look. The country has a huge diversity in terms of looks, landscapes (everything from snow capped mountains to deserts), cultures, religions etc...

@@Genya007 kucch bhi idiot. Indo-China war happened in 1962, and a major clash in 1967, since then there's been no official war between India & China. Also, the 62 war was fought in Aksai Chin, not North East. The events at the start of the movie happened in the early 90s. They were not meant to be Chinese soldiers/PLA. They were local militants since insurgency was at its peak in many areas of NE in the 90s.

This movie is directed by a south director Atlee.....the key features of south indian movies are Great fights, badass bgm scores and great camera angles So this is a Bollywood movie with a touch of South Indian cinema in it😁👍

In this movie, the title refers to the meaning "Soldier". Jawan actually means " Young" also in hindi dialect we sometimes use this word for soldier. So here "Jawan means Soldier"
