They recorded everything in their own home. If you also notice that Mitch is a lot thinner now than he was when he was younger is because he had cancer. I'm not sure when it was but it was when Avi was still with them. I do know he is now cancer free.

Never saw any news that he had cancer. It is a fan rumor.

They got cut from their 1st record label so they made THIS video for $400 and filmed it in Kevin (beatboxer) and Avi’s (beats and bass) closet and won their FIRST Grammy for it and the rest is history! No instruments-just voices… incredibly talented and 10 years later, they’re still blowing people away with their talent…even better now!! Check out their newer stuff!!

No instrument involved. No reverb. No auto tune.

I really enjoy watching peoples reaction to PTX. The best part is how they love how talented this group is. Not one negative thing about them. They do suffer somewhat from the lack of microphones - Kevin's beatboxing and body percussion in particular need microphones in order to have full impact - but this performance makes it abundantly clear that they made sure they could perform it live.
