Chigur is a lot like a vocal Michael Myers. He can't do anything but destroy. Rather, it's all he really wants to do. So he'll do it for a million bucks a hit or on a literal coin toss. But, rain or shine, October 31st or Cinco dey Mayo, he's gonna do it whether you want him to, whether he feels like it, and completely regardless of if he gets any fame, infamy, or any attention that lives to tell about it whatsoever. I'd compare him to Heath Ledger's joker, or, ironically given the casting in both productions, Brolin's Thanos.

"No Country For Old Men" is a great film. I Have the DVD, watched it again the other day! One other role of Javier that was missing here, was the small bit it "Collateral" I love his "Little burro" story.
