Javed Akhtar sahib was nominated to the Rajya Sabha by the then government, not by the Congress Party. Since he was a nominated MP, he was supposed to be above all political parties. To solve some copyright problems of some writers and composers he first met Mrs. Sonia Gandhi. As she advised him to meet the then Prime Minister, he met Dr. Manmohan Singh later. My point is: Since he was nominated by the government, and he was not an elected Rajya Sabha Congress MP, he should have met the Prime Minister first, and then probably he could have met Mrs. Sonia Gandhi. At the first instance, I feel, he bypassed the Prime Minister. He criticized some MOS/Ministers/ruling party men for their utterances. He talked of secularism, but did not criticize the much publicized Beef-Party. He recognized the time wasted in Parliament through adjournments, but did not fix the responsibility for this kind of act. However, being a Muslim he chanted “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” in the Rajya Sabha as his response to a political leader (having a small support base in Hyderabad) who did not want to pronounce it, is a very good thing.

My friends...India always remains a great country there is no doubt about it...I love my India and we all proud of our country. I am really surprise....why suddenly this issue came up from NO WHERE........ the govt wants us to change the direction of people from Mallaya who is absconding.... saale sab log mile hue hai... All political parties....New channels...bichare News Anchors what they can do...they have to wear suit and speak in english/hindi what there Bose ordered them...

Accha nahi bolenge tho kya Indian nahi rahenge. Ab chutiyo tum log kaise isse dharthi maa Bharath maa kahsakthe ho Ager hum Bharath maa yaa dharthi maa bolenge tho hum latrine toilet kidher karenge kyaa isse Bharath maa ka apmaan nahi hotha hai. Aor maa shabdh ka apmaan hum kabhi burdashth nahin kersakthe. Kripa kerke main oon logo se anoorodh kertha hoon ki ager Bharath mata kahena hai tho latrine India ke Baher jaker karo.Jai hind.

by giving Rajya sabha membership, awarding Padmashri, by giving security guards, by clapping on his poems, INDIA lifted one muslim to understand secular values of this nation. Now that remaining 200 million muslims know whats on offer, would not chose to understand this any cheaper.

+DIVYANSHU SHANKAR deserving is one thing. Having a system and people who recognize and appreciate deserving people is also important. do you have such system in pak or any muslim country ?

1. I hope Javed sahab taught this secularism lesson to Islamic States. 2. He says, "ham kaun se mulkon ki misaal le", he doesn't know, BHARAT is itself a Misaal for the world. 3. He constantly asked BJP to protect secularism & take care of people like Yogi & Saadhvi, why didnt he mention Rahul Gandhi, Kejriwal & others who were protecting JNU anti nationals? 4. He mentioned minority & majority, I ask, in a so called secular system, should there be minority & majority on the basis of religion? 5. Only saying "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" publically does not mean one is a pure nationalist. It's an attempt to buy some cheap popularity in a time when BHARAT Wasi are becoming more & more intolerant towards anti-nationals.

Darkhorse dont worry, i've got his message loud & clear. Neither did i say that this is something new which he came up with. Whatever I've mentioned, is not something which he didnt say. He has mixed cheesy lines with his "secularism" agenda. That's what the reality is. You are most welcome to disagree with me but the facts won't change.
