What happened to our land, to our people? To the culture that blossomed these legendary music and these legends? Jews, Muslims, Christians and Gentiles rich and poor living in peace along side of one another for centuries, sharing in the rich bounty of our peaceful and respectful culture. Deep inside any Iranian, away from all these rhetoric and politics of the day beats the heart of Homayoun Khoram and Javad Maroufi. We are still united in these unbreakable bonds. +Paul Amina You're way to optimistic. As long as Iranians cling to their past, nothing will change. If you really want to see a peaceful persian society in the future, you should start by criticizing our country, or people and our ethics. Because this shitty revolution only happend because we let it happen. It is our fault, and now we escape from the responsibilty by saying we were deceived by the Mullahs and that Persia was so big and we are all "united in our hearts" or whatever. I can assure you, from what I have seen, we Iranians are the most fascistic people around. Not only do we ridicule Afghans & Kurds, but also our own people: Discrimination against other cities and dialects is absolutely present everywhere, specially in the capital.

This music, and especially Rohani's beautiful piano solos have caused an ache in my soul. And you, my dear Paul Amna, have made me conscious of a heartache that won't go away. I've had friends in the past (I'm 87) from all parts of the world, and I know for a fact that most people want to live in harmony with one another. It's the power-hungry and fearful in this world that have a way of holding sway, no matter how you and I may feel about anything. God bless you.

What a magnific composition! What an explosition of artistic sensibility and very deep emotions transcribed in musical notes reflected in this perfect performance of the artists ! While listening sometimes had a feeling that I listen some noltalgic waltz of Chopin , other times had the feeling of some oriental music tunes . But the strongest feeling was - as I'm hungarian -when I found in some places that 'bitter sweet' tunes from Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody no. 2in C- Sharp Minor :) or in other places that -could say - archaic virtuous play which in 70s-80s was still played in some hidden rural regions in Transylvania by old hungarians folk violonists . And I wonder , who taught who music ? do we taught iranians music ? No . That's not true :) I strongly believe that music was born in iranian plateau. God gifted persians with this ( and many more) . And those who was in connection with persians learned music from them and brought it with them all around the world . I strongly believe hungarians , once long time back shared the same geographical region with persians who influenced the development of our folk music heritage which later bacame inspiration for many brilliant classical music compositions. You don't have to call man a god to practice his beliefs, the Catholic Church already acknowledges the Muslims for believing in one part of their trinity. They practice Jesus's beliefs and love him as a prophet, why would they be sent to hell? Jesus is not egotistical and neither is the God, the God wants MONOTHEISM and he is fine with that.

Say yes to music and be in peace and get rid off all stupid believes and religions
We need to acknowldge it, week rulers that totally depent of other country to keep them in power, oil, and waiting to be told what need to be done and how, those who brought him back, took him away as he started to see through his masters, hence decided to take him away and gave us different model, as long as they stayed as master and did not matter people's welfare to them, then disobident leadto sanctions, war and distruction of our people and culture and music and our happiness bits by bits. Hence we left and moved overseases.if only people were educted to its mean not obtaining diploma and BSc. we possibly were livig in our country and we would not talkig about this , only if.... lets enjoy this music while we can....

The moullas (ayatollah) and The shah destroy my country(Iran) because of dictatorship, that is more then 100 years we are stragling for freedom, the problem is west and US countries which support these dictators.they destroy our culture.they kiled innocent protesters when they stand up for freedom and democracy.
