Star India pacer Jasprit Bumrah won ICC’s player of the month award for June. Bumrah’s fierce performance in the T20 World Cup helped him claim the award. Bumrah picked up 15 wickets in 8 games at the World Cup.
Meanwhile, ace batter Smriti Mandhana also won player of the month award for June. Mandhana defeated Maia Bouchier of England and Vishmi Gunaratne of Sri Lanka to win the award. Mandhana was brilliant in the series against South Africa, scoring two centuries and a 90 in three ODIs.
