It was basically pre-approved for 2 seasons before the first one was even announced.

They just confirmed today that there's going to be a season 3

I just couldn’t bring myself to watch season 2. I don’t think I’ll be watching season 3 either.

I love Scrappy Doo. I absolutely hated when they made him the villain in the live action movie. But i don't know if I'd call him a "villain" here, since he killed Velma. My man died a hero. 😭

So, from what I understand (without watching it), season 2 keeps all the stupidity and lame personality choices for the characters but dialled down on the outrage, so now it's just boring dumb instead of outrageously dumb and not even worth the emotional investment it took to love to passionately hate it. Mostly, I'm just sad now because there's some serious skill, vision, and effort in the animation that's wasted on a dumb show that was fun to hate for a moment and will soon be forgotten. It's like the writers hated Scooby Doo but the animators loved the old show and tried to do their best within the parameters they were forced to work in.

i do hate scrappy because the internet told me to... but i'm on 99% believes if i bare to watch it and judge myself i'll hate him much more then the internet says.. but hearing the spoiler he kills velma.. regardless ghost and stuff... he is my hero

hate watch is such a tool.. and there someone who gain from it. also its kinda new to the audiance... we so earily railing together to agree and judge.. we so easy to play with..

velma is so deplorable and awful this season she causes so many issues for the people in her life and doesn't take a single count of accountability for any of it. Daphine and Velma relationship is so toxic it makes Joker and Harley relationship look normal.The twists are so stupid it gave me Brian damage.

Nice mention of the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. Did you see the 2019 follow up that has them dealing with the final ghost? It was a great finish for the story, with nods to the varied history of the characters, like Velma's skepticism. I prefer the originals where the villains always ended up being some guy in a mask, and hated the introduction of actual supernatural elements into it for the most part.
