How did you know? Did his cancer come back or he succumbed to infection? He was a tough and funny guy

My brother just told me that Jason Vale died. I went to Junior High with Jason in Whitestone and didn’t know him well and hadn’t heard about him since . But I remembered him for sure. Not only was he the strongest kid in school (or at least tied for first with this kid named Baron) but I remember he was also on the math team and was in the advanced classes in JHS 194. In other words, brains and brawn. I still remember the brawl he had with Baron to prove who was the strongest. I think most people would call it a tie but Jason looked completely unfazed when it was over and Baron looked quite winded). I also googled Jason’s history and couldn’t believe what he has been through. Ive lived overseas most my life and don’t do social media so reading his story now it sounds so incredulous it’s hard to believe it’s real. Also hard to believe it’s been 40 years since I saw him . Time stops for no one. Sincere Condolences and best wishes to his family.

This guy.... He beat cancer ... TWICE. Also entered competition with a hole breathing through his back / lung. So he would not forget his "Hand intelligence" on the table. And here he is in this video playing entertainer on piano. I wish I met him. R.I.P. So much respect^^

A well written book could make a decent movie about his life between the wrestling and the laetrile. I met him playing poker in Miami years ago at the Hard Rock.

Great clip Gary, and excellent questions thank you. Vale was a STUD. Cancer, we have all dealt with it in one way or another. Because of Jason my entire family eats a few apricot seeds every day. RIP Mr. Vale.

My condolences to Jason Vale family He has really helped people no question. How long ago did he pass away I just recently found out. Bitter Apricot seeds really do work my husband has been taken them for over 8 yrs already.

I loved Jason very much, he was curious about me arm wrestling from a wheelchair paralyzed. He could see how lethal I am. He was also. He is with Jesus now and he earned it. A true gentleman.

Jason is in heaven with Jesus now. May God bless the family members he left behind.

I know this guy. He used to sell apricot seeds to cure cancer. He was very sick. People looked down on him for selling these seeds but he seemed to believe in it and I just saw it as he was surviving. The one thing he could do. Hustlers gotta hustle. He was a fantastic arm wrestler and a hell of a hustler. RIP dude... P.S. I had those same exact gravity boots lol
