He has a pathos that transcends his context. The way reality cynically struck him down, his return, and how he lives with the undeserved cruelty inflicted upon him. He is closer to all of us, humans living now. We all have good intentions but the world always wins against our will. Instead of falling into nihilism, like the Joker, Jason finds an answer in fighting that cruelty on terms that are true to him. Batman and the world around him disdain Redhoods methods, yet he preserves regardless.

Jason Todd/Red Hood Is Also The Arkham Knight himself. Arkham Knight Is More Brutal than Red Hood, Way more Lethal. Kills With his Bare Hands and Sometimes Guns but doesn't have his Trademark Bowie/Survival Knife.

In the comics, Jason Todd's real mother gave him up to the Joker in the comics. How sad. 😢

The idea of Jason Todd taking the previous identity of the Joker for himself was an incredibly brilliant idea. Both events (Joker's birth and Robin's death) were tragic for Batman's character history and Jason merging them into one was the right call from DC Comics. Back then, the Red Hood mantle was only acknowledged because of it's ties to the Joker's past and Jason Todd remade it into a symbol of brutality, rebellion, and strength.

Anyone else find him to be the most relatable member of the bat family

All I got to say is...Jason was always what I would have been without Alfred's love and guidance at a young age,be grateful criminal's✌️

I realize the movie is streamlined (making it easier to recap) but why not go by the comics, “Under the Red hood” and “Red Hood: lost days” will always be canon to me.

Please do a Superhero origins for Robotman from Doom Patrol. He's a pretty unique when it comes to comic book superheroes from DC or Marvel.

I've always like Jason Todd as Robin especially during his brief time with the Teen Titans. I really couldn't understand why a lot of people didn't like him and voted for his death.

Can someone imagine if Batman made it and got Jason out of the factory in time?

I've always thought that Robin dressed that way because he was acting as a decoy meat shield for The Dark Knight. In this case, it worked and then improved the rogues list.

Robin dressed that easy because it was the Flying Graysons’ uniform. Jason Todd never wore the One Year Later outfit, only Tim Drake did.

Not even one notice of the immense voice talents in this movie. Too bad. Great movie.

Stop comparing him to the Punisher. He isn't a mindless killer. That would be Batman. He's the Punisher. Red Hood is smarter and more heroic than him, even when he is an awful person to his brothers. Trust me, look at how badly Batman treats every single one of them, and you'll know that Jason's "villainy" could never compare..

I would love to see a red hood live action film with Jensen ackles as the red hood he definitely would be great 👍🙂

Unfortunately, Jensen is 45. He's older than Jason's measly 19-20 years of age, is married, and has 3 children of his own to boot. At this point, for Jensen to work once again as Red Hood, he'd have to either be Red Hood in the Batman Beyond universe or appear in a multiverse movie where he's likely interacting with other versions of Red Hood. Imagine the drama of the Robins (former and current) mistaking him for Batman (the double Red Hood/Batman reference is something I believe will never get old 😊). That would be a hard time for him to shake off 😂..

Jason Todd has been my favorite superhero since I was like 8 or 9 and watched Under the Red Hood. Robin was already my favorite, but before, all knew was Grayson.

he was the best, and I was so upset when death in the family ended with those results. just the cover of batman with Jason Todd's intro of him boosting the tires off the batmobile in crime alley on the anniversary was a great way to introduce a new character. he was savvy too

I feel like Arkham Knight jason feels more realistic. Jason in under the red hood just got a crowbar beat down. Arkham jason went through way more pain

What about a brunette though? He could do so much like brunette. I'll only accept a blonde Jason if it's in a live action movie, with say Dacre Montgomery in the role. My imagination can go for miles in terms of storytelling, but apparently does not extend to original costume design..

He literally was a snot nosed brat when it came to dealing with Batman & his allies. He always argued with Batman on things that Batman knew more about. He was undisplined when it came to fighting.
