    Man I wanna give Q his flowers. He was a dawg at Whitney Young, won state. Then he turned around and balled everybody he played in college, except for Kenyon Martin who went number 1. He changed his game to an outside game in the league and still balled and had longevity. Salute to one of Chitown's finest!

    That Young 97/98 team was loaded. Q, Gates, Henry, Najeeb Echols.. Took out King with Imar Sawyer and Leon Smith and then beat a tough Galesburg team in the Championship. Joey Range from Galesburg was a bad dude at the time too...

    @@OmegaMusician2008 I agree. Cousy was on NBA radio last night. At 93, sharp as ever. Can't remember the host, but he brought up JJ Reddick's remarks about the players Cousy played with. Called them firemen and plumbers. Cousy said he was unaware of this and there was no need to respond. He said we must've had the best firemen and plumbers named Chamberlain, Russell, Baylor, Robertson, Jones (Sam and KC), Havlicek, Mikan, Petit, etc. ALL HOFers. Didn't know he started the Players Association.

He wanted to live in a big Market where he could enjoy his life you’re only young once. So he chose to go home to New Jersey right Nextdoor to New York. If you in your 20’s about to sign a 7yr 70-100 ?million where do you wanna live for the next 7yrs. Cold as Minnesota most of the Nba Season or New York/New Jersey metro area where you’re from.

    I’ll never forget that Mother’s Day game against the lakers my dad and I where taking my grandma to lunch for Mother’s Day and on the way there all you could hear on the radio was Jason terry for 3 one after another. My dads a lakers fan and he was getting heated I was laughing so hard once we got to the restaurant it was on tv and we just watched the mavs take over Kobe and the lakers I’ll never forget it!

    Great interview with the home town 206 JTizzle. I was one of them ones outta Seattle that didn’t stick wit hoop. Under the radar lock down Defense and could hit the three and could stay in the air like Jordan. Damn I wish I would’ve stuck wit hoop.     I loved the vindication in 2011 when the Mavericks won a championship against the Heat and Dirk wasn't the main man. Kidd and Terry and the Matrix participating also participating in the championship which took five years after they lost to the Heat.
