I met Alex at a Becker's convenience store when Rush was producing Hemispheres. I didn't want to talk his ear off but he was very friendly and appreciates his fans. I asked what they were working on and he mentioned the most difficult album yet, were calling Hemispheres. He even talked about how Neil was recording nature sounds with a parabolic mic, he could tell I was into technology. That was great to talk to Alex about Hemispheres and like 4 months later it's released, great album.

I’m a younger fan but was lucky enough to see them on this tour. 2011 I think? The show was amazing, however as we left the city the local radio station talked about the show and then played a little song called “Red Barchetta” my head fuckin exploded. The show was amazing but to hear this song I never heard before from a band who just blew my mind 20 minutes previously as we drove back home wow. I realized right then I wanna quit sports and be a musician full time. What a memory and pivotal moment of my youth. As my friends absorbed the techno, SoundCloud rap and metalcore, I was obsessed with rock n roll and That little moment was almost better than the show itself. It solidified my passion for playing music And made me Ditch my fears and pursue it. I’ll always remember that. R.I.P. NEIL.

when Paul said tote-magote I almost died
Jason and Paul's characters acted just like all of us Rush fans fear we would act in that situation and Rush acted worse-case-scenario in response. And then they signed the 9-string and our faith in Rush is confirmed. This sketch could not have been written more perfectly. Genius stuff. Love that Rush participated and acted so spot-on.
RIP Neil. You will be missed, but not forgotten. Absolute legend!
is this technically a mini sequel to I Love You Man

This was the movie they played at the end of the shows on the Time Machine Tour after the band has run off the stage after the encore. They’d roll this film then bring up the house lights.

Wonder why they ended up editing this scene out of the movie? Probably because Paul Rudd's girlfriend was with them during the concert scene but not with them backstage.....
I love the way all three of them shift their attention to the nine-string bass. That's an absolutely wonderful touch.
The expressions on Alex, Geddy, and Neil's faces were priceless. Funnier than the other two guys. RIP Professor .

I saw Rush in Baltimore, the Time Machine tour and I had to do a double take...there were two young black females all decked out in Rush apparel at the concert. I know Rush fans come form all walks and genders, but I thought it was too cool to see that.
