These are the videos that started Uncle Crispy Productions... one thursday night we brought 2 cameras to a show, the next day the first Uncle Crispy video was edited, and the rest is history. This was one of the last times the band performed at Java Joes without mics. This was also Jason's second show after having recorded his Elektra Album, so some of the songs were still new. It is a classic Java Joe's show, just Jason, Toca & Ian and a coffee shop full of fans!

His Java Joes performances are the best, got to know him there. So raw, coarse, unpretentious
This is the raw emotion and passion that made me fall in love with Jason Mraz's music in the first place.

the perfect song for what i'm going through right now. Not a heartbreak over a lover but over a friend... Which is worse in a way.

This is so great. I cannot imagine this video exists and I thank you for keeping this for us. Especially younger people like me. No words for Jason’s incredible performance here.
Music has a mysterious power. I watched this video over the 10years ago when i was little child try to move little fingers to play my small guitar. So now this moment, i go back to my forgetten memory with little acne boy :) in the little child, I couldnt understand all what Jason want to say with this song but now i can tell. Thank you unclecrispy.

I did not hear the song "No surprises" before, so I checked the video. The only thing that could sound like that one is the intro. But I don't think that Jason even likes that band, I just don't hear the influence of them on him. Jason's is so much better.
