My wife passed January 19th 2022, she was 45. When you actually have it, the real thing, nothing else on earth comes close to that...at all. And when it’s ripped from you...there is no greater pain to endure

I was widowed at 47 and know what this all fees like. Im now blessed by a new love, but he is an optimist who never sees an end. I think that knowing there is an end is a gift which keeps me facing the right direction. His perception that we will live forever makes him want to fix all my silly habits...I dont do the same because if I were again the one left behind, I would cherish the memories of his silliness

My folks are gone now but had 56 years together before my mom passed and my dad went shortly after. Wish they could have heard this tune. I have no doubt they would have loved it.

I just stumbled on this song. It’s been 5 weeks and one day since I lost my husband to FTD. Two months shy of 40 years together.....and this morning I find this song.....

@@alexjalava2035 every day has been a struggle. But I am slowly learning to take a moment at a time. I do encourage you to continue to value the love you have found. One year or almost 4 decades we need to always make each moment count….as the saying goes- “hope, faith and love-but the greatest of these is truly love…. Take care and guard your ❤️

We made it 41 years. It ended last year. I’m the one spending some days alone.

After 41 years of marriage my mother passed away. My father had to spend exactly 369 days alone. I can only hope they've been reunited...
