Best guitar player in today's heavy music, hands down! 5fdp will always be my favorite band and all of you guys are just the perfect group and make the best music. With every album you put out. Wether it be a cover, a slow song or a heavy one. You guys don't have a single dad song out there. Love it! Love your style of playing dude, what a band. I wish you all the success for many years to come and I shall forever be a fan. Funny, it was kiss whom got me into rock and playing the guitar too! My first record was the title album "kiss" and led me to getting my first guitar, an epiphone sg. Yip, destroyer next too....." Detroit rock city " ....rock on Jason , you are living my dream.

OMG, I've been writing as a lyricist for Bon Jovi since I was 6 years old! That's awesome, that your friend the guitarist is now their guitarist. I'm also the lyricist for 5FDP. Just hanging out in the sidelines :) Also on facebook with my own comments. Jason Hook if you want to be a solo guitarist and singer for your own band let me know. I can probably put together some lyrics for you as well, although, it's also very difficult. I'm trying to figure out what you would want to sing about or do. I'm not very familiar with KISS at all.

Funny I grew up with Rock and Roll over and Destroyer. Rush 2112 All The Worlds a stage I did not realize we are closer in age then I thought. Love Gun etc... kids today don't even know what an album sleeve is LOL. I play an Ibanez and all my kids are percussionist. Still have my big ole trusty Fender Princeton Chorus amp and a Line 6 hooked up to my keyboard. I have still to this day my Kramer from guitar Center Eddie Van halen was pushing them back in the day.
