    OmG! I'm allergic to Effexor. Funnily enough my dad has always taken it and done well. Not only does it give me horrible allergic side effects, but I also hallucinate and get the worst pains of every kind if I take it. I started that when it came out in the 90s, and was sick for almost a year and a half until I flushed my pills and demanded a different med. Doctors really push anything no matter what you tell them it does. I remember taking it and ending up in the hospital, week later my Dr.tells me, "oh you just need a lower dosage. It's too high". I said no. Tried it anyways. Same things happened. Went back. Dr. Didn't believe me. A-holes.

    For some reason, auto play decided that I should hear this, it's just not my thing. All I see here is a couple of people who want to be noticed, and will talk about anything in hopes of getting likes or whatever it is that people strive for nowadays. Apparently I've become a prude in my old age, because I don't find sex talk to be interesting, or funny anymore. It just comes off as desperate, and points to the person having nothing of substance to say. To be fair though, everything bores me, and everyone annoys me, so my opinion of this doesn't really mean much.

  • @actuallyNo...

    @@scottbaylo , it wasn't about being funny. Sure they laughed about a few things to put it in a lighter context, but the whole of it was about real and actual life. It wasn't a podcast to just make sex jokes... To top that off, that portion was only about 1/5 of the show. It's his life. ...and trust me, he was not talking about these things for likes. He isn't that type of person. He's more nervous talking than anything.

    Hi Brittany, usually love your videos, but when heavy topics like molestation are involved, and incest there should be a trigger warning. Substance abuse issues and childhood trauma are important issues to talk about... but there are certain things that are way heavier, and this was one of them. You should let your audience know beforehand. All the best.

  • @actuallyNo...

    @actuallyNo...

    You should know that her podcast has all heavy topics. When she DOESNT it's more of a shock. Everyone knows Brittany Furlan is not a soft comedian or character. 18+ always means "adult topics". Adult topics include things that you mentioned. People all over the World experience bad things and feel horrible at different stuff. Stop trying to insist people baby you and a few others personally. YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL. EVERYONE IS TJE SAME. For those that dislike adult topics... DON'T WATCH.

  • @actuallyNo...

    @actuallyNo...

    I'd also.like to point out that after a certain point, IT'S UP TO YOU to research who and what your watching and listening to. If you knew who this guy was, you wouldn't have watched. Maybe when you see a quest's name, you google it ahead of time so you know it's almost definitely gonna involve what you don't want to hear. I can't stand people that can't take responsibility and constantly put.it on everyone else. WtF thinks this podcast is gonna leave out topics like you mentioned? Geezus.

    @@actuallyNo... I'm well aware of what her content usually entails as I'm a fan. Incest isn't a light subject matter. And for those who know someone who has experienced it or been through it themselves, yeah hearing about it unexpectedly can bring about flashbacks. I doubt when you research a person's name it says "Was molested." I'm not offended and was enjoying the podcast up until that point. If you can't have a civil conversation then maybe ya know don't respond to someone else's comment who is voicing a concern not even aimed at you or for you. I can hear about drug abuse all day, and sex, etc...all "adult" content... this doesn't fall in that category. Have a nice day Leslie.

  • @actuallyNo...

    @actuallyNo...

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@suzane3751 , I wasn't being uncivil. I can be, however, if that's how someone has to speak to you in order to get a point across. Whoosh. Right over your head. I seriously want to know why there needs to be warning about specific things(?). If a person gave a warning about everything that may bring up a past memory in someone then there would BE no podcast because we'd be sitting here for 2 hours listening to preemptive "be on the lookout for"(s). I'm so bored and tired of the whining for things your way just because you think your special. For REAL ,Lady... EVERYONE has bad memories. Everyone. We don't have time to live in a World where adults need babysitting. If you need that then your welcome to leave and go to a safe space where they do practically censor and warn you about every forthcoming sentence.
