I really refuse to believe Logan is dead We didn’t see a body, he works in special intelligence and there’s no logical reason to kill him off off-screen

Jason's so adorably shy! Fell head over heels for Logan! LOL! I say he was whisked away by military intelligence now hes got amnesia...

Jason is an underated actor. A nice person who seems to not have a big career,but still fun to watch.

You can just see the “oh boy just wait and see” when she asks him about playing Logan again! The season finale hurt me! I grew close to these characters.

They set it up to where Logan is gone for weeks for work. If Rob Thomas wanted to focus on just Veronica and have her outside of Neptune, have her do that when Logan is deployed. And bc we've already seen their 'love story', we can focus on the mystery like Rob wants. If Logan really died in S4, Veronica will probably get new love interests, and then you'll have to focus on that, taking away from the mystery. Logan and V were finally just happy together. They fought so much in earlier seasons, esp 3. They basically made the movie to give them their happy ending and now they took it away. Sure, I'd rather them be in love and he dies, versus they break up. But my favorite part of the show was seeing LoVe happy together. Logan is so funny and his wit matches Veronica. The show needs Logan's character. Have him be in a coma, it still fits w the ending. And don't break them up again, so no more teenage 'on-off again'. They're just a mature adult couple w normal issues. And focus on mysteries. I honestly don't think I want to watch without Logan.

The Veronica character would not have taken off on her own at the end of episode 8, if Logan somehow survived the blast! They can't make it work & because of that the series can't realistically continue!

Same!! As soon as Veronica put it together i started yelling "NO NO NO NO NO!!!" at the tv. My hubby popped his head into the living room just as the explosion happened and saw me with my hands covering my mouth and my eyes bugged out in shock & then i screamed. Hubby laughed and said he thought something was REALLY wrong 🤣

I just finished re binging the all the episodes up till season 3 and then just watched the last season just now and am ugly sobbing! Hated the last few minutes!

His face when he was talking about the last two episodes was perfect

one year later, it still hurts. they should've written more about Logan's Navy Intelligence part. I was hoping more of his classic wit and sarcasm. but the season finale happened... shame on you, writers!

Now that was a great interview, she really let him talk. But man, I HATED that ending !!!

more than 2 years since, and i just finished all the seasons and the movie... i loved it. i loved the transformation of Logan's character, so puh-leaseeee don't....

I hate that they killed Logan off. My favorite scene of VM is when LoHan told Veronica that their love story was epic, and she leaves and comes back the next morning telling that she thought about what he said, and the look on his eyes knowing he screwed, then bimbo Kendal comes to the door, and Veronica is in tears. I do believe that their love story was epic.

Ugh, I was ugly crying at the end of the season. That was so painful, damn I love Logan.

LoVe forever! That ending was a nightmare sequence. If Bobby Ewing can "come back" then Logan Echolls lives on.

Thanks to audience they shoot season 4 and this is how writer thanks us! By killing the one of the most important character! Without LoVe there is no veronica mars for us.

You can tell he’s really sad several points in this video about the ending of season 4. Don’t mind me just crying over here.

Why can’t his death be an intelligence operation, so that Logan can come back at sometime

I am not gonna lie, I watched all episodes in one night when it came out on Hulu. Binge watched lol. Anyway, I agree with most of the commenters. They seriously need to undue some stuff and bring more seasons because this show kicks butt!!! I am a huge fan but if Logan character is gone, I probably wont watch anymore. This is tv, so there is so much they can do to bring him back. Maybe he had to fake his death to go undercover elsewhere and Veronica could not know the truth. Maybe he is in a coma not expected to make a full recovery and then he awakes to Veronica being in a relationship...just fix it writers...lol

With as jaded as Veronica is she NEEDED the genuine happiness that her love story with Logan gave her to balance out her tortured views on relationships. 🤷‍♀️ just my two cents 😊

Yes, I think a lot of people got emotional and missed that they never said he died. Her end narration is toward the therapist, her leaving town is temporary for a job. They definitely left the door wide open for a lot of different options.

If Logan doesn't "Jon Snow" himself in season 5 I HOPE THERE's NO SEASON 5 cause if that's the end of Logan than it's the end of "VM" show and we have to deal with it

The end result of the season didn't bother me nearly as much as the stupidity of how it happened. These great detectives (and the local police) skip a few steps in the process of wrapping the case up, which would never have happened unless you're watching the keystone cops.

the main plot of the whole season didn't really work on me anyway. there's just too much stretches. the motivation of the crime is meh. and why Patton Oswalt, tho? -_- ah sorry, that's personal. I basically continued to watch it just to see how's the older Logan and Veronica dynamic gonna play out on screen. and I think it was such a loss that they didn't write more about Logan's Navy Intelligence stuff. they could've written heavier stuff and built connection between the case and government stuff and that way they could involve Logan more as a character. but they basically just made him no less than the love interest in this season 4, then decided to end it the way it ended. what a mess.

Their is so many ways they could have went with the show . I am sad that they went this way. I loved the character of Logan . They could have some fbi or spy theme.

💜 Cannot wait to get reacquainted with one of my all-time FAVE shows. Loved the movie too. And yeah Clifton Collins Jr. is amazing, definitely underrated.

I'm ignoring the last 10 minutes or so of the Veronica Mars finale because it is over for me unless something is undone.

I watched first two episodes and somehow I read someone s comments regarding the ending and.. I couldn t watch it anymore. I am so furious about the tragic ending but I hope Logan is still alive and the explosion was just a diversion because he had to disappear, witnessing a crime in the mission or something similar.

Knowing what we know and the interviewer asking if it happens in episode 4, I bet she was certainly surprised too. Though she moved on I was curious his answer to the question about playing that character forever but she moved on.

I agree with some comments here. Damn that was a sucky ending. No happiness for either. She just got a consolation voicemail after his death. That’s sucky.

Killing off the Logan character really served no point unless Dohring didn't really want to continue on this re-boot! This interview is no doubt contractual! How he was killed off also was abrupt, yet was like one of those slow-mo scenes you can't help but know was coming as soon as they started the take for the scene!

This was such a fabulous interview. The ending was horrible and I'm out.

What episode in season one is Jason talking about when he says Logan touches veronica's shoulder? I do remember it vaguely, but would like to refresh my memory haha

I'm guessing you've figured it out by now, but it was in one of the episodes that Veronica was helping Logan look for his mother. They were talking about the credit card charges at a table in the quad and then walk down the hallway sort of together. When they are at a hallway intersection, they stop and Logan thanks V for helping out, he puts his hand on her upper arm/shoulder area when he says it. I've heard Jason Dohring explain more fully in other interviews that he had so much trouble with it that he thought he had made contact the first few times until the director said to him "you actually have to touch her arm this time!"

I can't not think about Terra every time i hear him spiking... ☺
