Jason Brown is the most gorgeous skater in the world in my opinion. I saw him skate in person once and there is no way to describe how electrifying it was. He was so in a class of his own.

there is no career really after competitions anymore.. no pro circuit and only a few ice shows.

I want to live in a world where the performances that Jason and Mariah did win GOLD at Nationals.

Beautiful, I feel he is so far above any other skater, man or woman, when it comes to artistry

They replayed Nathan at the end, they should have shown Jason too. NBC has posted video of the short program, maybe they will post the free skate too. I want to hear the commentary and see the score. I was so disappointed that they would do that news break while the top skaters were performing. Bad judgement. They could have waited. Everyone already knew about Bryant.

Jessica, thank you so much for sharing this. NBC just abandoned anyone who recorded the event. Jason's skating is exquisite. He finishes every move with meaning instead of racing from one element to the next. Right through his fingers and toes. Beautiful.

Shivers running up and down my spine! Jason is my fav skater of all time. This is beautiful!!!!

I legit cried this night. I was sitting in the 2nd row at the far end from the Kiss and Cry and I honest to God cried watching this skate. It's a privilege to have been able to see him skate in person and I'll never forget this night for the rest of my life.

So hard to find this kind of passion nowadays. It's clear to everyone, audience, judges, even us youtube viewers that he is in love with the sport and the sport loves him back. Jason doesn't skate for a medal, he skates to tell us a story, he skates and brings art to the ice. Every time I see him skate, I am in awe and his skating matches his beautiful, kind heart.

Bless you for posting this. I recorded the NBC coverage to watch later. When I tuned in it was to see the end of the Kobe Bryant coverage and then the cut back to the program at the end of Jason's skate. I was hoping to find it somewhere. What a fabulous performance!

The news had nothing but wall to wall Kobe coverage, so this was pre-empted. I was depressed all day over it. Thank you for uploading this, I didn't get to see it. I love Jason Brown.

Jason is brilliant. And no one can compare to him.

Warning to all of Jason's competitors who rely so heavily on quads for their scores...if Jason ever develops a consistent quad, all of you are in deep do-do.

But he's been trying to learn a quad for so long (years). He landed a 4T(ur) but he barely lifted off the ice. He needs more than 4Ts to be competitive again. He does have amazing ss and artistry but that's just half of the score.

John Piascik ,,,it wasn’t just under rotated, it was downgraded to a triple,,,he was half a turn short of rotation.

Thanks so much for posting Jason's long program. The news conference regarding Kobe Bryant could have waited 15 minutes until the long programs concluded. Jason laid down two fabulous programs. So happy for him. I love the way he lands his jumps with such precision, and holds the position, there is no doubt that his jumps are clean! Such elegant movements, so deliberate. Congratulations Jason!

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. In our area our station broke in again - right before the 5 pm newscast - of the Kobe Bryant tragedy and we missed all of Jason's skate. I'm so sorry for their loss. But Jason is my favorite skater and so I truly appreciate being able to see his beautiful performance. Yes, quads are great and I do admire Nathan Chen and he truly seems like a nice guy. But over the years I'm getting tired of "glide and quad" skating with no artistry. Jason brings that magic back. No one else brings that to the ice the way he does. In a class of his own. ❤❤❤❤❤

If he finally gets that quad consistent (and maybe another one), Chen and Hanyu really need to watch out for him. AND ... his spins are really good! He should recive more GoE for them.

He started including one quad, but he's training three. It took him a long time to get the 3A too once upon a time, but once he got it, he got it. If he keeps working on controlling the nerves, he'll surely have at least the 4T once in the short and twice in the long consistent next season. Imagine those scores.

It's going to take more than 1 or even 2 quads for him to challenge Yuzuru and Nathan. Maybe if he can do 5 flawless quads and 7 flawless jumps altogether...but Nathan is pretty much the only human alive who can consistently achieve that. I mean, Jason doesn't even have PCS advantage over Nathan and Yuzuru internationally.

Great job recording this performance! Made me feel like I was there. Jason has become a supreme artist. What a moving program.

Thank you for posting! I've been looking for this for days. As usual, Jason Brown has me in tears. Just equisite, every spin, every jump, and his footwork sequence as always light-years beyond his competetors. He's my favorite skater, male or female.

The jumps he's doing are so much cleaner than several years ago. And of course as always the artistry spins and musicality second to none! And his footwork wonderful as I feel like many other skaters don't know what a step sequence is meant to be but he knows!

They replayed Nathan but not Jason. He is breathtaking! My granddaughter met him as a young skater an he is as NICE as he is talented. So proud he is from my area!

What a dancer, what a performer! Poetry in motion. I love the way he moves his arms, his fingers and his head. Every movement he makes tells a piece of the story and expresses an emotion. This is what dance is all about.

Captivating...as are most of his programs. While the QT was downgraded, I am encouraged that he went for it in a major competition. I believe he can do it--and when he does--the skating world is in for a treat with Hanyu, Nathan and Jason jumping and offering unique styles to their programs. I can't wait.

Thanks for posting this. I love Jason because his choreography is amazing and he pays attention to each detail. I don't care if he doesn't do quads because watching this makes figure skating have more beauty.

I too, was sorry to see Jason's skate interrupted. I don't mean deprive Bryant coverage of that terrible event, but I wish NBC and law enforcement had waited just another 10 minutes to break in. Jason is my favorite and I wait all year for his performances.

What a class act; just impeccably artistic, soulful, and brilliant!

Breathtaking, astonishing. I've only ever felt this way about one other skater...Brian Boitano. Bravo Jason, you deserve every bit of praise and accolade that you could be given. Don't ever lose that magical lyrical quality to your skating, it makes you unique. Quads are not everything to those of use who enjoy REAL skating.

Now thats a skater. He brings artistry like no other and you cant take your eyes off of him. Heck with quads. This is what skating is all about and no one does it better. He should have won! Nbc should have extended the broadcast 30 minutes so we could watch the best two skaters. Not smart on their part.

His jumps come out of nowhere. No signaling -- they just happen like a surprise gift. I think I love this Schindlers list as much as the revamped Olympic season version.

@@Everythingwoketurnstoshit I think Jason staying on his feet will help his psyche tremendously. It has been a huge hurdle for him to even stand up on the quad in competition. He did it once in 2016 with his old technique, so maybe he will finally move forward with the new technique and be more successful.
