He’s been famous for a long time, maybe not the most famous person ever but he’s been working since at least his teens so a lot longer than a minute” 😆. Also his sister Justine Bateman has been in the entertainment industry for just as long and was on Family Ties in the 1980s.

I worked on Ozark and dude literally down to Earth to everyone. Went to the wrap party and he took pics with everyone.

How is this dude so good at comedy and borderline horror stuff?! But also... Everything he directs is amazing as well.

While you are in the fear or death fright conflict, you notice no symptoms of “disease”, except you have cold hands, cold feet, you can’t sleep, you awaken at 3 AM every night, you have little appetite. During the war, millions of people were in fear of the bombing of their homes and cities where the war was most active. Fearing for their lives, their loved ones in the war, their ability to survive. The food in the stores was sparse due to shortages. This lasted for 4 long years! The longer the conflict, the worse the healing phase. Within 2 weeks of the German Chancellor announcing the end of WWI, these millions of people ALL went into the healing phase all at the same time. It is during the healing phase that you experience symptoms of illness! What is the healing phase of the bronchia widening? Severe bronchitis, pneumonia. The body attempts to refill this lost tissue and you experience inflammation, fever, coughing, body aches, fatigue, etc. What is the healing phase of the extra lung tissue that grew? Decomposing of the tissue by TB bacteria and fungi. The symptoms of this healing phase are: severe coughing up of blood and tissue, fever, inflammation, severe mucous, body aches, fatigue. During this decomposing of the extra tissue (tumor), the body expels a lot of protein, and without replenishment, severe protein loss can result in death. Antibiotics did not exist yet. If TB bacteria does not exist in a person or they have been vaccinated against TB (big mistake), then the tumor will simply encapsulate and become dormant and not harm you. Who died during the Spanish Flu? Mainly the poor who could not afford to buy meat and proper nourishment, and the people who were directly impacted by the bombings and destruction of their homes. Millions of people suffered fear and death frights during the fighting of WWI, and millions of people all went into healing at the end of it. Not everyone was affected because not everyone suffered the same way. It’s not a “flu”, it’s not something you “catch”. It’s biological, meaningful, and unavoidable. One hundred years later, a Fear Campaign begins, using the media to spread it......

Ozark is definitely his crowning achievement. There are many great characters on the show but Marty Byrde is just the best and most fascinating since the first episode. That is because of Jason's acting and I dare say he is the best actor in the series! I hope he is awarded with an actor's Emmy for the final season now 🙏

Fun info on that movie. The role of the thief was originally written for a man, but when Jason saw Bridesmaids and was blown away at Melissa’s character, he said they had to change the script to a woman and ask her to be in it. Hilarious 😄

Bateman has turned into a well rounded actor. He used to be more about comedies but man, he is awesome in Ozark, aside from directing and producing for it too.

One of the few child actors who managed to stay sane, who didn’t turn to drugs or alcohol, who built a formidable career, can do drama and comedy with equal expertise, is happily married and just seems like an incredibly well rounded, funny person. That takes some doing - and being comfortable in your own skin. Ozark is an AWESOME Series. I think they are VERY smart to make this the final season. “Keep ‘em wanting more”. That Smartless Tour would be well worth the money.

He’s so humble. He acts as if every project he does is just silly when in reality he’s absolutely brilliant. Someone who’s truly working in the industry for the passion and not the money or fame. 😄

Jason, king of underplaying it. I love it. He does seem genuinely humble though. Ozark is phenomenal. Almost comparable to Breaking Bad. I feel like the final season will deliver.

@@theoffender3113 oh man. It took me YEARS to start breaking bad. Tons of people kept telling me how good it was. And man once I started it I was HOOKED. You cannot go on in life without watching such a masterpiece. And then once you're finished you can watch Better Call Saul. It took me a bit to get into that one but that was another awesome series. It's like a prequel to Breaking Bad.

I know it's all part of the act, but Will Arnett will not cut Sean Hayes a break. Everything Sean brings up, Arnett feels obliged to cut him down. Sean Hayes takes it in stride, but it's kind of annoying.

Ozark is one of the best shows of our times and Jason is amazing in it but the chemistry he has with Will and Sean on Smartless is incredible to see.Just 3 friends having a good time and making fun of each other.

What a phenomenal actor! Everyone has been pointing out all his accolades but forgetting his voice acting. His character in Zootopia was the absolute best and made it the hit movie it was.

I watched WAY too much TV as a youngster. I remember Jason from 'Silver Spoons' and he was good in that show.

JB has it all, level-headed, great sense of humor& personality, I could go on&on!

Love Bateman and Ozark! Can't wait for the next season.

Ozark was the only reason why I got Netflix in the first place. After the first season I was hooked. Crazy how long second season took to come out. 2 or 2 and a half years later, but I'm glad it wasn't canceled.
