I love your response. Every time I listen a vocal chayanat I'm reminded of her seminal recording. I think Panditji is someone who has finally been able to reach that level. It's not about the voice or techniques or raagdaari. To me it's the sense of ecstasy I have while listening to it.

@@Su342365 Vilambit Bandish:Well I don’t know the exact meaning, but will try to explain with the words which have appeared in Bandish: First Line- Hey Friend (Female) brings me Garland of flowers, the lucky one will have it on his /her forehead. I am now mentally attached to Sultan (King) Salem , who’s I am gone be dearest one or going to be his most admirable lover Drut Bandish: Jhanan words are nothing but just a sound … it’s a sound of Payaliya (The ornaments girls wear in their anklets. She is the one who goes often to meet her lover, the sound of her payaliya is Jhanan Jhanan Jhanna To perform puja she steps out of home all alone, knowing this INAYAT is surprised again and again. Here Inayat is the name of Great Inayat Hussain Khan Saheb, who wrote this Bandish.

The name of tabla accompanist is not mentioned here but he should understand the difference between tabla solo and sath-sangat. Unabatedly disturbing the singer.
