People fail to realize that what happened to Pandits in 90s had been happening in Jammu and Srinagar areas with the Muslim since 15th century. Mass killings, no fair hearing, arbitrary taxation and state sponsored pogroms. Mind you, these were all done by non Kashmiri rulers like Afghans, Sikhs, Dogras etc. Kashmiri Pandit exodus was just a very small retaliation by the people of J&K as a response to their 500 years of suffering
