it’s very fun, I’ve been playing since I was 5 now I’m in highschool. I am a mid-e. It’s very fun tbh tho it’s fast Pace like American football or football.

Went to high school with this guy for a year and basketball growing up. Raw natural talent.

How is using a d pole cheating? If he’s a defender, he’s used to a d pole... if it’s allowed in the game, it’s allowed in the skills comp. d poles make it harder to shoot, by the way

D poles give higher speeds more easily. And if you're in this competition you can hit the goal majority of the time

fairness, i believe in a competition everyone using the same equipment would be common place. Using a longer pole is a clear advantage when it comes to exerting force on an object to increase speed, anyone with a basic understanding of levers would know that.

Defending that shot for my age which is 14 is like 50-70 mph for an above average and I can shot that fast that's hard for a goalie to save so it wouldn't be as hard as you think and the goalie is taking up a lot of the goal, and it hard to aim a shot that fast

I played goalie for a year at my school in middle school. It was only middle school yet I’d come home with tons of deep purple bruises from the balls hitting your skin. After a week or so of straight skin pegging your skin will get used to it and it won’t hurt that much

Imagine a piece of rubber flying at you at 115mph

Using a D pole with a longer fulcrum simply gives you more torque and acceleration, it’s basic physics. Idk if it’s “cheating” or not, but with the same throwing power the ball will go faster out of the D pole than a normal one

If I were you I'd start at a rec league cause if you're going into highschool many kids playing lacrosse in highschool are developed. In MD the highschool teams are very competitive.
