Last time I heard Bowen signed a new contract last month

I think Bowen would be amazing for us, a great player. Would make our front 3 frightening. Top four with Bowen Isak and Gordon wow, we will smash the premier league with that front line if we can keep them fit

Keg needs to up his knowledge, Ashworth didn’t do any of Brightons transfers, not a single one. Sam Jewell was the man responsible for all of Brightons transfer business (hence why Man City, Chelsea and Barca have all been trying to sign him, he finally just signed for Chelsea a few month back) - Ashworth simply negotiated the price on all deals, that’s all he does.

Bowen is 100% a media smoke screen. Has just signed a new contract with them West Ham would demand a huge fee. Better value in the market for sure. Could probably get Wirtz for a similar fee for what West Ham would be asking. Not saying either would actual even want to come

I’ve had enough of Howe, this obsession with English and/or injury prone players is crippling us with PSR. What on earth is the point in signing Bowen who’s 27 for not far of £100M? Seriously where is the logic in that? Asprilla at Watford, an absolute baller, now wanted by arsenal also is £15M, we would literally have a GEM of a player and his surname will be a delight to have back on our shirts. Kubo, Malen, Mbuemo, all brilliant players but because they don’t have a British passport, Howe doesn’t want them. I’m telling you now, I am DREAMING of the day England come and take Howe off us, I am sick to the back teeth of his narrow minded transfer targets, it’s pathetic - we will never not have an issue with PSR as long as Eddie Howe has a say on transfers, his love for overpriced English and/or injury prone players is absolutely crippling us.

Yous are totally overlooking the fact we need players that have a sell on value, signing a 27 year old in his peak for 4 years is no good. We need players to have a sell on value when we finish with them. Yous are totally overlooking PSR with this naive shout saying “he’s only 27, he’s in his prime” - aye he might be, but for that money we could get a young midfielder, a young RW and a CB. Eddie Howe please leave this club with your shambolic transfer targets, hes the main reason we are crippled with PSR, it’s the players he wants, £40M on Barnes just cause he’s English, now nearly £100M on Bowen. Gordon, Isak, and Bruno all have sell on value just for starters. How many hundreds of millions in player sales do you need? Right now, we need to win so that we can keep getting those players. Buying a bunch of kids is going to stunt our growth.
