Wemby was supposed to play in the real Euro league that Luka played in but his “team” opted for lower quality competition and one game a week. Also only playing French teams so no crazy travel. Plus that guarantees his numbers stay high. Luka would have averaged 50/15/15 in a French league.

Nah, if you put on perspective at the numbers of europeans players, the majority flourish as NBA players, not as a superstar, but they will play very good minutes on the league. Capella, Gobert, Sabonis, Bogdan and Bojan Bogdanovic, Ricky Rubio, Porzingis, Nurkic, Valanciunas, Dennis Schroder, Franz Wagner, Lauri Markkanen, Vucevic, Jakob Poetl, Batum etc..

Wembanyama was a role player in the Euroleague two years and then last year he played in a different team that didn’t play European competition. He played great and has shown potential but he hasn’t proved as many things as luka did before going to the states
