It's nice to see a football player that pulled the plug at the right time, isn't shaking or a drug addict, doesn't need a cane, isn't throwing around money at strip joints and isn't completely broke and working part time as a bus driver because he didn't budget smartly. There's no shame in being a bus driver, but it's nice seeing him doing something he enjoys.

I can only speak for the shaking and cane because the time will unfortunately come when the effects of CTE and past injuries can no longer be held back as one ages. I loved playing contact sports, but how I suffer from it now at mid-life makes me ponder whether it was worth it.

He looks much more natural as a slim dude, but this is only my impression of an ignorant onlooker. btw my thoughts about this stuff may be under impression of Hafthor Bjornsson weight loss (50kg immediately lost after retirement by 6'9 World Strongest Man, but it's a slightly different case because he went down from ~200 to 150kg)
