Yesss! Oscar is just a remarkable actor. He is so convincing no matter what he does.

Listening to Oscar, he makes a great choice for Moon Knight and I can’t wait. The English accent in the trailer just has to be a choice he made for a specific scene, because that’s the only thing that stood out for me as being a bit weird. He was great in Dune. Jared is an understated talent; can’t wait to see him in Morbius. Love these Variety actors on actors. Only an actor can ask the right questions to another actor. Thanks Variety.

I personally think he was a horrible cast for Duke Leto Atreides . He was supposed to be someone like a fatherly figure before his death . Alexander Skarsgård would've been the PERFECT cast , but a lot of people can come between Skarsgård and Oscar Issac. I've read 4 books of the Dune universe and have read book one twice. Issac is just not it. As for any biases , I never saw any of the Dune movies before or while reading the books. Never saw the David lynch version.

That particular accent feels "weird" because we're so used to hearing Oscar's natural voice, but that specific dialect isn't usually reserved for LEAD characters.

I've been obsessed with both of em' for years. Thank you Variety. Leto since DBC and Oscar since Dive but his performance as Nathan in Ex Machina sealed it for me. Leto is a body transformation guru n2m.

Hi. This is from the future. If you read this in the past somehow, don’t see “Morbius”. It sucks.

That Al Pacino talk at the end... I was hoping to hear Pacino was going to play Oscar's father in something. Oscar reminds me SO MUCH of a young Pacino.

If Michael Mann shoots Heat 2 I so want Oscar to play a young Vincent/ Pacino. He was and is the only actor that has stuck in my head for that role since I read the book.

To be fair, Oscar has chemistry with everyone.

I was first aware of Oscar Isaac during Robin Hood. He was electric in that movie. Turned out he was in Body of Lies and I didn't even realize it!

both of theirs performances were divisive as villains with Issac as Apocalypse and Leto as Joker, both of which came out in 2016. Glad, both of them got second chances.

He's an attention seeker, that's why he is sooo lgbt friendly, animal friend, every race friend, etc. I used to be a big fan of him until 2012 but I started to see many incongruences in his behavior and his speech. I'm glad I found out he was just a liar looking for more fame and money.

@@yosoykarito DDL imo is the best actor on the planet that I’m aware of at least. His ability to disappear into roles was always next level. The only other chameleon actor I can think of that comes close is Gary Oldman. There’s some really great actors out there though.

I haven't watched the movie yet but it's probably one of those movies that can be recognized for the awards because it's a topic that probably appeals to the awards crowd (a biographical film based on one of the most famous names in fashion), boasts an ensemble cast, and is helmed by a critically-acclaimed director. The critics look to be mixed about the film but there are some examples in recent years of a movie getting a mixed reception only to be nominated for multiple Academy Awards.

How do you look like Jared in your 50s? Don't tell me it's a veg thing. Jared is more in his own world, taking a peek out. Oscar looks more sane and stable. Both are incredibly beautiful men, like outworldly beautiful.
