I am South African and I felt so damn represented when Satoshi pulled a face to the liquorice and the peppermint chocolate! 🤣🤣🤣 Can't stand it either!! This video was recommended via algorithm, never seen you guys before, but this was real fun. Even my granny joined me to watch. We also loved that the doggie got his own treat. As a South African let me congratulate you on getting the pronunciations of "Rooibos" and "Ouma" 100% correct. Also, they should have sent you the two snacks we are most known for, "Biltong" and "Droë wors" but since those are meat products I'm guessing it would be problematic to send those to Japan. Meat products are forbidden in certain countries. And since Biltong is dried meat and not seal meat like those greasy Jerky packages they are even more strict with that products. even if you take some as a snack it will be removed.

I am South African and worked for a Japanese company for 24 years and I had many working trips to Japan. I love the intense interest the guys had when trying the samples.

I'm 100% South African and I must say, you tried some of our best snacks. Thank you for being so open to trying things out of your comfort zone! In many places in South Africa you often find ladies who make the animals crafts by hand (like the giraffe). They are very skilled and normally do it as their primary income. To be honest, I don't really like Ghost Pops, but I love the Rolo chocolate and Ouma Rusks (I always dip them in a hot cup of coffee). I'd love to try your favorite Japanese snacks!

@@shirleyt5696 depends on where. Different laws for different countries. Japan has among the strictest food safety requirements in the world. And they are very careful to protect their Wagyu cattle. I am sure meat products are not allowed to be sent through the post.

wow! his pronunciation of "Rooibos" and "ouma" was perfect! Rooibos goes great with milk and then you dip the Ouma rusks in the tea.

Chai tea is much better

Rooi Bos means red bush, its not really a tea, it has no caffiene, good for people with caffine sensitivity or epilepsy :)

This is my first time watching them. Are they a couple? They are so friendly looking, I like them. Especially the man in the glasses! Every time he says "thank you!" is so sweet lol.

Loved this!! It makes me so happy. These are all snacks I enjoy as well. Very sad since some of these are being discontinued soon. Glad you got to try it before that happened!

My mom makes home made rusks all the time and they are soooo good! I'm so glad that as a south African I love my life around these amazing foods!

I'm suprised Shinichi liked the peppermint crisp chocolate, I like it too but usually when others taste it they all react like Satoshi ...love how respectful you'll are ❤

I've grown up eating every single one of the foods those dudes ate, and boy do I love them

Shoutout from Namibia as well 🙂 These are all snacks we grew up eating in Southern Africa… 👍🏻

I am in Pretoria, South Africa and this was funny for me to watch through the lens of another culture and 2 different personalities/palates.

For all you non SA people out there. "Ouma" means "Grandmother" or "Grandma" .

You should try the allsorts red licorice if you don't like the black ones. Also thank for not being weird about our snacks and being respectful. Most people get it wrong when they make these types of videos. You guys were wholesome 👌💓
