The New Year has come and gone, and it is now the chilly season in Japan, and Hōjicha tea is perfect for this time of year.
"Hōjicha" is distinctive from other Japanese green teas because it is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal.
Unlike other Senchado styles, Hōjicha is brewed in a slightly larger bowl.
