Lol "She is a horrible recorder player!" 😂 That part got me. There's no such thing as a good recorder player, it's an instrument that's specifically designed to never be enjoyed by anyone. I love your whole vibe and seeing your perspective!

No idea why this popped up in my recommendations but it was lovely!! It was very fun to watch someone who is very familiar with Japan to react to someone’s first time there. He seems like a very sweet and kind person, and I love how he tries to educate the people who watch a bit more about Japan and what it is like to visit!

She has Asian ascendancy (I'm not sure if it's Japanese), so that explains why she knows so much about the culture! I liked this video a lot.

Such a nice reaction! Interesting to hear that most Japanese people would be too shy to speak to foreigners when my and my partner travelled to Japan, we had so many school kids come up to us to practice their English which was so cute! And also we did a tour of Shiretoko National Park and it was just us and one older Japanese lady who was SO nice and wanted to take photos with us at all of the lakes 😊

I went on a two week tour of Japan back in 2017, we hit Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and lots of points in between, I found that plenty of people spoke English and were very friendly and helpful, and just learning a few phrases like excuse me, please and thank you in Japanese helped out a lot, also the Google voice translation came in very handy.

I've been to New York, but I still feel woefully unprepwared for the Japanese metro
