I’m Japanese and knew about this scandal but it’s funny to hear it again in English. The Hexagon, the TV show which made Yukina became famous is quite problematic itself because the MC was involved in the scandal of having connection with Yakuza and forcing other young model to have sexual relationship. He was literally the biggest comedian of the time so the news at that time was so huge.

Some people even speculate the shitter planned this since there were an alarming amount of posts on their page about fecal matter in the days leading up to the awards show. Others say it’s a complete fabrication to make one fanbase look bad. This is just what I gathered from google translating some tweets so I hope Stephanie and her researchers who can actually speak Korean can get to the bottom of this. Also I just checked the Wikipedia page for the show and this incident made it on 😭

KfC did a HUGE ad campaign in the 70's that said Americans eat KFC at x-mas. I guess it stuck, so now its the tradition there. Ive also heard Christmas is more like Valentines Day in Japan. Its like for couples, its not about families getting together and exchanging gifts like here in the U.S..

About the Casetify case, I’ve had my case for about two years and last year I went to the SD County fair on this one ride that lifts you up and twists you around upside down. Completely forgot the name of it, but the gist is that I thought I left my phone w/ my dad but I actually had it in my pocket. The phone flew out of my pocket as the ride twirled us more than three stories up high, which is really dangerous as it could hit someone. But, fortunately, no one was hurt and my phone was found a little way away from the ride on the floor, completely unharmed. Pretty impressive phone case!
