This may be the single most helpful Japanese instructional video I have ever seen. The sample conversations you get in a textbook are nothing like this. 3 years of Japanese in a top college program, and I would have failed so many times in this scenario thanks to unfamiliar vocab and expressions. Thank you so much for making this and for adding a transcript and subtitles. Will definitely subscribe and check out your other videos!

Je te souhaite une bonne dégustation : 乾杯 et いただきます !🍷🥢 Voilà, au grand plaisir de te retrouver avec impatience pour la prochaine vidéo. Bye bye !✋ Bisous de la France !❤️🇫🇷

I haven't had KFC in a long time because it hasn't been great where I live in Ontario, Canada. They started cutting the breast and thigh pieces in half and calling it "two pieces" and saying "you're still getting the same amount of chicken!" Except... you aren't. Now we order from a small Canadian chain called Mary Brown's, and it's so much better. The menu at KFC Japan is so different than in Canada! I'm envious 😅 Our sandwiches and wraps are basically just regular, spicy, "zinger twister wraps" (which I guess is spicy), and barbecue lover's wraps and sandwiches. I'd love to try the lemon basil twister wrap, if only it were available in Canada. ETA: oh, and your fries look so much better than the ones we get here!

"Yappari" is something I always remembered hearing my Mother say from time to time when I listened to her having a conversation in Japanese with a friend or my older Brother who both spoke fluent Japanese because they both grew up there. I having been born outside Japan was quick to lose my ability to speak Japanese, but certain words I remember. This specific video taught me that "Yappari" means to change your mind about something. Arigato!
