Japanese Imperial Army Victory March Nanking 1937 日本軍の勝利は1937年南京行進

We have the triumphant Victory March of the victorious Imperial Army through the devastated streets of Nanking looked upon by the few living relatives of those killed by the thousands, todays equivalent would like the British Army doing a victory parade in the streets of Derry accompanied by the Orange order to celebrate the Derry massacre.
If you look at the Nanking massacre information on the internet you will be taken aback by the many entries from the Japan media side which do not recognise any undue killings over and above military operational casualties , In fact the whole period in Japan is only referred as the Nanking INCIDENT.

The Brits and Aussies May have opposed it, but it was Wilson that overturned it. That’s on him. Furthermore, he further drove the Imperial Japanese away when he didn’t allow them to directly annex the German colonies they captured in the war, essentially enforcing that Japan was not an equal to the other allied nations. That alienated them and led to their turn to the ultranationalist state that they were in World War II.

@@shadestrider1033 pretty much. Japanese soldiers prior to ww1 were model soldiers, following the Geneva conventions perfectly and being honorable in victory. But where did that lead them? They won crushing victories against China, Russia, and Germany in the early 1900s but were forced to sign treaties that basically made them the losers. They were continually disrespected by the west, with the west acting holier than thou about Japan colonizing while the west was actively raping the world through colonization. After that disrespect Japan pretty much just said “fuck it” and went full scorched earth, not giving a fuck about treaties or anything European. The monster that was imperial Japan in world war 2 was created by European racism and disrespect towards Japan.

2009 From the Chinese film 'City of Life and Death', regarding the Rape of Nanking. Remarkably, it seems the soldiers are played by Japanese. This does not appear to be a victory march, but a commemoration of fallen comrades: the preceding scene (omitted here) showed what I took to be soldiers carrying boxes containing ashes from cremation, and the placing of offerings on Japanese tombstones.

I think one of my favorite pieces of info (unsure if true) I ever heard about Nanking, was that Germany was real confused as to why Japan had just seemed to STOP advancing at Nanking for so long. So they sent some people to figure out what was going on, and they basically were told by the SS to stop it. Imagine going so fuckin insanely hard with your war crimes that the SS are like “bro fuckin too far stop that and move on.”
