Japanese Hole Fishing "Anazuri"
In this video I will be introducing "Anazuri" which is Japanese hole fishing, a popular type of fishing in Japan.
Japan coast is full of tetrapods to break waves, and these tetrapods are full of holes, which are also full of fish!
I'll be using a "Burakuri" rig, which is a Japanese rig made specifically for hole fishing, and a Jika rig, a versatile Japanese rig.
Hope you enjoy the video!

I really admire someone who live in japan and can fish there, since japan has a lot of fish and different methods, is this burakuri can catch greenling too? i played japanese fishing games since childhood, so i know there's more of them, i hope you can fish at the river too! Catching some amago, yamame or Iwana should be nice!

Thank you! Yes you can definitely catch greenling with a burakuri too, they are called "Ainame" in Japanese. You might have more luck further up north, like the Tohoku region for example. Yes, it is my dream to catch amago, yamame or iwana at mountain streams! The sea is more accessible to me right now, but I hope I can one day!

Thank you very much! I wanted to see what it tasted like, but I wasn't planning on taking anything home that day so I released it. Maybe next time!

@@hanfishingjp I've heard that they have a wonderful, delicate flavour. They're invasive where I live in Australia so we aren't allowed to release them!

Hi there, it depends on what species you are targeting, but anywhere with a coast is good for saltwater fishing here, especially light game. I've heard that Kyushu has some good fishing though!

@@hanfishingjp my dream fish to catch is Aji! but honestly anything small that bites, my setup is Ajing setup.

@@yunho9046 Ajing is pretty hard! In that case, you should try Kyushu. You can catch Aji in Mie prefecture too, anywhere in between should be good too. Try fishing harbors at night under street lights, that's where they usually gather.
