Japan need to educate the world on the way to eat food
Looks really healthy and delicious damn!
I wanna learn the diet they have in Japan it looks so delicious
Very nice ❤❤❤❤
Looks yummy!
I love umeboshi and furikake in the morning especially but not too much as it’s pretty salty! It’s yummy, satisfying and gives you that “morning kick” like sugar! But no blood spike
Superb well balanced meal❤
Yummy!!!!!
❤wow delicious
こんにちは美輪さん🌸I saw your previous video regarding on topic of “sugar” it would be nice if you could make another one soon! The tips were good…usually Japanese food doesn’t have much sugar even traditional Japanese sweets are much healthier! And nice for a “pick me up afternoon” snack! I’d love to eat more whole based salt based foods over sugary foods :)
Hello Miwa, I wish you a belated Happy Emperors’s Birthday! My girlfriend and I plan to visit Japan in March, and as breakfast is an important meal for us, I wanted to see what was offered as a traditional meal in your country. I believe there is much to learn about a culture from the food they prepare. As I am not a vegetarian, I contacted a vegetarian friend of mine who referred me to your Channel. Thank you for such informative and entertaining presentations of a modern Japanese preparing traditional breakfast with explanations about the food and preparations. I recently bought the ingredients to make miso soup from “scratch” and also planned to make my own version of a “3 sides, soup, and rice”. A step too far for someone who has never made traditional Japanese dishes. I settled for just the miso for the first attempt. Results were mixed, as the depth of flavor was less than expected, possibly due to insufficient dashi flakes, and too short steeping of the seaweed. Still, much was learned, and the next attempts will be better. Still, we had a good experience and will continue. FYI, shopping for for traditional Japanese ingredients in USA, takes some effort, expense, and several stores. I bought approx. 250USD of ingredients I have never bought before, and expect to make say 4 meals, from the expense. I have much to learn as I explore this cuisine. One question, I understand that northern Japan had a history of wheat based menus. Can you confirm or elaborate on this?

Yes:)
The original japanese breakfast is the one I loved the most. But I would swap the white rice with genmai.
