I'm 21 and want to design traditional Japanese architecture, I want to become an architect, just wondering if people still want traditional architecture?

When Japanese Castles were built, was the castle surrounded by buildings (Tea Houses, Brothels, Bath Houses, Hot Springs, Fountains, Wells, Weapon Shops, Pagodas, Homes, or any other buildings) within the palace? Or was the palace empty? Did the palace have homes for concubines? If you have any information on this PLEASE tell me the exact layout. I need it for I big project I'm working on... Thank you! ^^

They're very similar, and I can see where you'd get confused, but that's definitely Himeji at 2:34
