My favorite is trying out foreign snacks and says that Dutch licorice tastes like cat piss. Im always laughing hard. And it is indeed a traumatizing flavor to taste on a candy. Very relatable.

@@MxPotato84 I find it funny when americans call licorice "punishment candy". I'm a dutch old school lolita with a licorice addiction. I don't buy it otherwise I would no longer fit into my favorite clothes.

I’m being flooded with so many memories! I remember going to that exact pet shop (I think it’s at the bottom level of The Mall 2) with me mum, and wanting to get all the cat toys for my two kitties back in aus. Ahh, I miss Sendai so much! The double subtitling is pretty cool. I'm actually in college studying linguistics to be a kinda translator/social worker focusing on work with other languages, with Japanese being one of the ones I'm studying, and in an odd way, this actually is helping me see my progress. I noticed that I'm instinctively able to read all of the Kana and even most of the Kanji without thinking about what they mean or needing to look at anything for reference. So, yeah, pretty cool idea!

Your videos are always chill, fun, and educational! And the subtitles look great, love the font and the fact that they're different colors.

I actually love listening to you speak Japanese. I don’t mind the subtitles. I visit Japan often for work. I think I’d go broke if I lived there. The fruits and veggies are the best and I splurge. All the cutesy shops, like the cat store, love to take all my money! Love Japan! 🌸❤️

so fun seeing you guys hang out! I really like the two language subtitles you used, I'm trying to stay on top of my japanese whilst not in school, and seeing the kanji related to the words I hear and understand really helps c: I'm so jealous of all the nice cat toys and gadgets you have in japan, in Sweden its really limited and I'm worried my cat will get bored soon :/
