हमें केवल अमेरिका पर निर्भर रहना चाहिए। भारत को जापान न के साथ एक संधि कर लेनी चाहिए। यह संधि हमें चीन के साथ युद्ध में भले ही ज्यादा काम ना आए पर पाकिस्तान के साथ युद्ध में निर्णायक होगी। हो सके तो जापान में भारतीय सेना/नौसेना को deploy करना चाहिए नहीं तो हम सच में युद्ध में अकेले होंगे। हमारे बहुत सारे दुश्मन हैं। अमेरिका एक रिक्त स्थान छोड़ रहा है अगर उसे भारत ने नहीं भरा तो चीन भर देगा।

With the course of time majority of sovereign countries will start recognising Taiwan. Hats off to Japan.

Because PRC China wouldn't allow them. PRC China wants the island of Taiwan, also Taiwan was under ROC which was the original China that gained control of Taiwan after WWII. Basically the China-Taiwan issue isn't just about the land or the country, but the legitimacy of the government of PRC China. PRC China sees Taiwan (With ROC on it) as an unfinished, unconquered land that belongs to it. (The problem is PRC never set foot or have control of Taiwan, but they keep claiming Taiwan is part of PRC China. They reason with they defeated the ROC so the current ROC on the island is just a government in exile) And you point out a thing that resulted in the current situation: Taiwan (ROC) turned democratic back in 1996. But the democracy was declared under ROC, which is still ROC China, prior to that Taiwan was under dictatorship rule of the KMT's ROC, but they knew the civilians are gonna revolt so they decided to let the country turn democracy because the actual Taiwanese on the island was fighting for it. And if they keep resisting, ROC would have been removed entirely. The current Taiwan inherited ROC and still have ROC government on it, but it turned democracy with the support of the actual Taiwanese and not the ones that came to the island after KMT's defeat of the Chinese Civil war. Technically Taiwan and its people were never involved in the Chinese civil war, or the Sino-Japanese war. They were abandoned by the Qing Dynasty to the Japanese, and due to the WWII lost of Japan, Taiwan just happened to get handed over to ROC China.
