It's June, but the rainy season has started later than usual this year.
It was raining on the morning of my holiday, so I went for a walk in the countryside.
This time we will visit Kawauchi Village, located in Hamadori, Fukushima Prefecture.
The village is located at an altitude of approximately 500 meters and is 250 km away from Tokyo.
Because the area is surrounded by mountains, the climate is hot in summer and cold in winter.
Especially in winter, temperatures can drop to -10℃, which is rare in this region.
This time, the route is from the main street of the village, passing through the houses and following the rice field road.
Please enjoy a walk while listening to the quiet sound of rain, which is different from the usual midsummer sounds of cicadas.
