One of the best colors I've seen using this camera specially paired with 18-105. With F4, it's hard to expose the subject or the place. A6300 was released 7 years ago and still performs well as long as you know how to use your gear. Very well made video.

In this world where there's always new camera every couple of months that promise to be so much better with 10 bits videos, better dynamic range and full frame sensor, your video is a great example that gear doesn't really matter, only skills do! Yes! Thank you. I started on a6000 then upgraded to a6300 to A7iii then to Blackmagic 6k. I'd be happy to go full circle and go back to a6000 any day.

How is this camera less than a grand and looks better than most of the newer cameras that cost 3-4x as much? Do you have a processing technique or something?? Is it the color grading?

First off, the place looks great. I think a good weather has something to do with a good video. And yes, I've also color graded it. Had to work hard for removing unwanted artifacts.

This is beautiful!. I also have an a6300 and Cineprint 16 but I have not achieved this look as great as you. Is there a chance you could make a tutorial?

Thanks! Unfortunately I'm not able to make a tutorial for this. I can probably give you some tips though. Most of the colors rely on the correct Color Space Transform. Play around what works best for the a6300. I used Sony S-Gamut on the profile and S-log for gamma (even though that's not my actual camera settings). After that, turn off the Cineon node and turn on the Print. I used the D55 Kodak 2383 LUT. Everything usually turns out too overexposed so I correct the exposure with the highlight and gain control then increase the lift control. I just add the contrast to taste at the Post Con node.

I just used the built-in mic of the a6300. I think I did a compression in post. Added a limiter and a compressor with the stock DaVinci sound effects.

Sometimes I think I should have kept that camera

Same. I've gone through all the depths. 12 bit blackmagic raw and prores 422. I'd still consider this camera for travel and even professional projects.

I've denoised the footage and added resolve's grain. the grains on a6300 is not that pleasing.

What is the aspect ratio of this video?
