It’s never going to be as cheap as it would be in Korea but it’s much cheaper if you go to a Korean mart and they make it in house, instead of going to a restaurant. But in general prices in the US are out of control due to corporate greed. Same or even smaller portions of food for less service and a higher price.

Its because the japanese name the items phonetically based on the korean pronunciations as closely as possible. For example, Tteokbokki (떡볶이) in japanese is トッポギ (toppogi). Phonetically they are very close but not quite the same, and thats really just the limitations of Katakana, which is the writing system used for most borrowed words with the exception of chinese characters (a lot of kanji can be traced back to traditional chinese characters).

Just finished binging your analysis and I am being FED 🙏🙏🙏 I can tell you've done audiobooks, really bringing the voice that just captures and holds a moment when you described the episode. I was hurt and healed all over again ✨❤️ I had the same areas of address when it came to Husk's VA!!! Glad that we can finally see him fit into the role. I didn't notice Husk or Nifty in that shot! I feel like the way they'll explain how she died is going to be so tragic... Please, take all the time you need - get that breather. Maybe you can wait until the final two episodes are out to do another 4 parter? Gives you time to pace out the editing and rendering? Keep Up The Good Work~!

I had to replay this a couple times cuz the samurai champloo end theme song looping in the background distracted me *badly* 😅
