Enjoy the V22's. I enjoyed making the smaller prototype tilt rotor actuators out of aluminum in california and was transferred to park city utah to manufacture the first units for flight out of titanium pancake forgings on a small maho mill.....I thank my parents for allowing me to attend college where I mastered trigonometry during my year of calculus classes. This was done long before mastercam became available so producing complex geometry required real math. : )

I dunno they have to do all this so slow and carefully, what happens if we are at war or things have to be done quickly?

👍 That's really cool to hear about your experience working on the prototype tilt rotor actuators for the V22! It's amazing how much precision and calculation is required to produce complex geometry, especially without the help of modern software like Mastercam. Your mastery of trigonometry during calculus classes definitely paid off! And it's great to see the V22 being adopted by other countries like Japan, showcasing the innovative technology that the United States has developed. Thanks for sharing your story!
