Just group the first term with the last and the two middle ones like that: n(n+1)(n+2)(n+3) +1=(n^2+3n)(n^2+3n+2)+1 m=n^2+3n, then m(m+2)+1=(m+1)^2 that's all.

And now you know how seemingly fair math exams are designed so that only the right people make it through. They are built around tricks that you have to learn by rote, and which are taught by tutors - for money - which work together with the people setting the exams. n(n+1)(n+2)(n+3) = (n^2 + 3n +1)^2 -1 is not a fact that is an important part of doing or understanding math. It's math trivia. But the exams are peppered with these trivia questions, which are changed each year, and which you have to pay money to be trained in.
