Wow! Nowhere has sin been defined like this !!! No one ever explained duality like this. The Guru Gifted us the Baani but the meaning only became clear (to this no one), 60 years later, only through this blessed voice of course via Gurparsad 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

72 Virgin Goats it's a shame that we don't have more people like Veerji in the panth. Also we now need to start massive Sikh awareness drives and do more prachar to people outside our religion

i believe there is a movement going on.. I don't remember a single instance in childhood the Katha was explained as done by Sukha Singh, Basics of Sikhi or Bhai Sahib here. Our only inspiration came from reading about our Gurus and the life they led. It wasn't enough and there was always something missing. I think reading just Japji Sahib with understanding is so vast and mind opening that even one reading is enough to change you forever. Wish you the best on your journey brother.!!

another view on matt, its way of thinkingbor perceiving the world, we can deal/look at a situation in the way Guru's (knowledge) telling us or we can use our point of view. Using particular knowledge in a particular situation

these Kathas need to be translated to spoken Punjabi and subtitles in gurumukhi when English is being spoken. If I have the funds this would be my priority.

On the topic of paap (plural), seems like people have natural tendency to attach to things, emotions, memories and some even tends to be more angry, lustful, deceitful (by both genetics and nurture), so when people get thoughts of any of these things they grab attention more frequently hence a more of hurdle in remembering one, whereas if somebody start doing good then they will also start to think of those things but more from ego perspective

I'm sorry but I'm a bit confused here. If we are supposed to be indifferent toward sins and virtues then why must we remove 5 CHOR and replace them with 5 GUNS (Compassion, humility etc) ? Why so much running away from those 5 sins if they are a part of our universe? Maybe I totally misunderstood your point, but I would appreciate if you'd be kind enough to explain it to me. Thank you so much :)

@Naina Saggu , respected divine being , we need not to inculcate 5 virtues bcoz u can inculcate something from outside but what is already built in within self one can't get rid of those virtues...love compassion humility etc r the same virtues with self , if we can put other interests before our self interest we r already divine , and as far as 5 chor are concerned , one need not to think of getting rid of them....u just need to be aware bcoz all these 5 chor exsist in the universe equally with the virtues , that's the reason it is said it's a cosmic dance , divine play ...one actor playing different characters, taking from one side , givinng to other side.....and with awareness these 5 chor dissolves like darkness gets dissolved in light ....we neither have to see things as good or bad , we need to see the reality as it is , we need to become sahej , simple , middle path what Buddha said , avoiding two extremes that is good or bad bcoz eventually excess of good or bad will lead to destruction , like positive ions and negative ions comes together and lightning happens , electormagentic field happens similarly a balance state.....if some of my words creates any conflict to u then I apologize ..m also learning every moment and sharing without any arrogance...thanks

extending Amar's reply, the idea is not to put all your effort in greeting rid of 5, because then you will be putting all your focus/attention in good and bad rather than the one. Even Gurbani says that one can't get rid of the 5 themselves without Guru Kirpa or until they merge into one. Therefore the idea is to keep focused in one through words, thought and physical action, If you are aware that your attention is going towards five then one should bring it towards the one through reciting bani, doing seva, meditation etc.
