🐰 I'm so so so happy that you like P&P!! I absolutely love the 2005 movie, as well, and agree that the movie helped enhance my love of the book. I would highly recommend North & South by Elizabeth Gaskell because I think it has very similar themes and I think (bear with me here) even better writing! I will say the romance isn't as central but it's still beautiful and powerful and when you're done, you can watch the BBC mini series which is so INCREDIBLE. I'm not prepared to declare it as my favorite because there's currently a tie between N&S, P&P, and Emma but it's the latest I read and I'm still on a high from it lol.

Just finished 9th House and loved it. Love watching these wrap up so I can add to my holds on Libby!

if the rest of your reading is like this month, you’re in for a good year 🤩🤩 so many new books to add to my tbr!!! my favourite book was suprisingly City of Gods and Monsters, which i remember you being disappointed by 😭 i devoured it out of no where???? and my least favourite was definitely Still Beating by Jennifer Hartmann, i just couldn’t get down with sisters fiancé vibes 😀😀🐰

Totally agree about your thoughts on Sorcery of Thorns, that book was a let down. I forgot all about it!

i was so lucky in january i didn't get any book below 4 stars, i was quite shocked honestly. my favourite was amari and the night brothers and for most disappointing i'd say the night swim because even if it was an overall 4 stars, the ending was super rushed and disappointing to me 🐇

yes 100% stands up super well to being a standalone. i would be totally satisfied if there was no sequel, but i’m excited there is one anyway!

Can't believe you didn't love sorcery of thorns we have similar taste in books and I loved sorcery so so much. It's weird how we can love some books the same but then there's others that just fall short but still love ya and will check out all of these

i read the savage lands series this month, and was honestly kind of disappointed. i loved the overall story but was kind of confused with the plot and abundance of characters.

Great video!! Really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on those books. I just binged The Zodiac Academy and Im absolutely obsessed with it. Another new favourite that I binged in January is The broken bonds series.😍😍 Phenomenal. Both series. Now I'm reading The Savage Lands series and sadly the plot and the writting are disappointing. The sex/smut is really good but everything else is very repetitive and boring.🫤
