six of crows is genuinely one of my favorite books of all time! it’s connected to the shadow and bone trilogy and technically happens after that series, but you don’t necessarily have to read the shadow and bone trilogy before six of crows

GIRL. I finally read Divine Rivals at the end of this month and OHHHHHH MY GOSH. Literally probably the best book i've read this year. I was immediately immersed in the world and so so obsessed with the writing and characters. I have never fallen in love with a book like I fell in love with this one. After I finished Divine Rivals, Ruthless Vows came out the next day and I downloaded it on my Kindle and stayed up all night reading it. I loved this one too so much and I have so so much love for this duology. I can't wait to see you read it!

Personally I DEVOURED divine rivals! I found the writing very beautiful (I don’t read fantasy ever so it was a great starting point for me) and I even found the actual fantasy part interesting alongside the romance. I’m so excited to read the sequel.

So many of the books you mentioned are books that I want to read too! So many books, so little time! Right now I am almost finished with Iron Flame and loving it so far!! I just finished Yellowface by R. F. Kuang and really, really enjoyed that :) Now I want to read Babel by her. And it's funny, I am also literally two chapters into Assassin's Blade. You are right, it sucks you in immediately! I am reading Assassin's Blade as the first in the series in order to get to know the characters. OH also I am going to definitely be reading Powerless now based on your recommendation XD

@@HalJones it’s really not important. You’re doing an excellent job. The numbers don’t lie. It’s such a pleasure to see a new reader getting into reading and be open to learn. Please consider as many genres (e.g. sci-fi, romance, fantasy etc) as possible. You never know what might interest you. I really didn’t see myself reading books like Binding 13 and absolutely loved them, so far.

I use Final Cut Pro X!! But I stared my channel just using iMovie bc it’s free!! And there are sooo many KZread videos of tutorials on how to do things, that’s how I learned!! 🥰

The Seven Year Slip is sooooo good!! i have read Among the Beasts and Briars and The Dead Romantics also by Ashley Poston and all were just so good! I loved The Six of Crows duology! The Shadow and Bone trilogy was okay but imo not as good as Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. Tbh I almost dnf'ed the trilogy. I didn't I ended up finsihing it but it just wasn't a fave. So far this year I had read Here with Me and For the Fans. Both are really good. Currently reading The Beautiful and also reading Layla.

Hockey Romance eh?? Try Two Tickets by AJ Manney;. She's an awesome indie author who has written multiple fantasy romance series(I loved them all). The female protagonist has T1D and you *know* it is well done because AJ's young daughter has it. I highly recommend her work.
