Janryumon - Suu Kan Tsu - Four Kongs - 【雀龍門】 - 四槓子
Ойындар
Myself getting a Yakuman hand of Suu Kan Tsu (Four Kongs) in Janryumon on July 17, 2013.
This is the rarest yakuman in Riichi Mahjong due to the abortive rules involving kongs.
In addition, this hand is also referred to as the "十八羅漢" or "十八罗汉" (Eighteen Arhats) as there are eighteen tiles in this hand.

Okay, that's a good point. If you're going for a hand like this, where its high point value is blatantly obvious to the whole table, an "unlikely" wait probably increases your chances of that wait getting out of your opponents' hands, assuming they don't switch gears to 100% defensive play. Huh. Neat.
NonRandomUser I'm playing with exactly the same process when my wait is on a single tile. I have to say, waiting on a Wind tile that was already discarded twice is quite effective... 8D
is there a 4 kong and rinshan kaihou video?
Precisely because there was only one other Haku (white dragon/tofu block) out there waiting to be discarded. The psychology of other players would be, "This is a bad wait, since two Hakus have already been discarded, and everyone else should also realize that, so it should be safe to discard." The trap set by that sort of reasonable, yet insufficient logic, is (probably) what prompted that fatal discard in the end.

It's newbie mindset. This guy has called 4 kan. And it contain 2 kinds of dragon, west wind and 9 man. So easy to know that he waits for honor or terminal tile. And it's around turn 15, which mean it's time to defend especially when others had shown their high points hand. If this man tsumo it's will be good but if he ron others, they are really noob
Oh man... Anything could've gone wrong!
四槓子、混老頭、混一色、小三元、中、發
Nice Suu Kan Tsu, though. That's obviously a very rare Yakuman because of how rare getting ONLY ONE Kan is. And that's someway like a Suu Ankou Tanki Machi, because, if you don't consider the fact that you changed the order of drawing the tiles on the wall by calling Pon 4 times, he would have probably got four concealed three-of-a-kind.
Somehow it's always the tofu that gets involved in hands like this. Or maybe mahjong fiction writers just really like the tofu block for some reason.
this hand, too shiny. Suu Kan Tsu + Han Rou Tou + Sho San Gen
So I've gotta ask: why on earth did you hold onto a one-out tofu block for all that time?

Toitoi + honroutou + chun + hatsu + honitsu + sankantsu = 10 han (baiman). Add shosangen and it becomes 12 han (sanbaiman). Plus it looks safer with two already discarded.

@@klieu90210 what if the Haku is Ura Dora inisiator? Or is there a way to know?
why is his discard so weird? discarding 8 pin when he had 9 pin (almost sequence), and discarding 2 wan when he had another 2 wan (pair) and then discarding the remaining

I think he discarded 8 pin in order to target thirteen orphans
Please, what is this mahjong game name? is it Mahjong Souls?
