Hurkacz is a real contender in any situation. Good showing from him and pushing Jannik to 2 tiebreakers.

Mainly on fast surfaces and in big part due to his serve. He still has work to do to be stronger mentally and less passive with less errors from the baseline. And sometimes to choose better moments to attack to the net. Off course your weaknesses are more visible when you play Jannik who is ranked Nr 1 player in the world.

@@loutrokabines he won the first tie break 10-8, that's not even close to "neutralising" anything. and yes, lucky points. there's at least one failed smash by sinner in this video, that's a clear example of a lucky point. then there's points where the ball hits the net. then there's mishits, like the one by hurkacz shown in this video. so yes, lucky points do happen, even at this level. you seem to suffer from a common disease where you seem to think that if player A is better than player B then player A will win all the time, 100% of the points; or that if a player won a match it means they completely dominated it. That's not how reality works.

Sinner has been very consistent and has won his 4th title in 2024 already. When we talk about the Big 3, we often confuse the level of Tennis with longevity. It was a pleasure to watch them clash. Note also their statistics in finals, they are extraordinary players. Congratulations Yannik for winning this title.💪🙏

It's crazy how quiet and elegant the game of tennis can be when 2 grass maestros of silence can duke it out without spewing ridiculous grunts every point, to distract their oppontents' concentration. Unlike the baboon-like grunts and shrieks of Crocovic, Nadumb and Alcatraz, these men follow the classy behaviour of the true aesthetic-goat, Roger S.A.B.R Federer. Even though they both possess a gangly, unsightly two-handed backhand, their gruntless, silent style had me inspired, and most importantly, rock solid throughout this entire highlight exchange. How truly blessed we are to watch vintage tennis before the gentlemen's tournament of the tour, that encapsulates HDT's famous quote "every man lives a life of quiet desperation" or something to that effect. And that's how I like my tennis players. Quiet, and desperate to win.

@@MrTubular13 Sinner will dominate him on fast surfaces. Better serve, better return, better backhand, more compact forehand. Jannik's game is more suitable for fast hard and grass courts. Alcaraz's topspin and movement are not that relevant on fast courts. Last year Carlos was just too good overall and Sinner wasn't quite the same. This year Jannik will win Wimbledon

my God.. Sinner is a beast. Big serve, amazing from baseline, great at net & great fast court coverage.... I feel he is more a beast than even Alcaraz at the moment - he does have a bit more experience than Alcaraz so Alcaraz should improve like Sinner has. Both amazingly exciting to watch.

Alcaraz began playing tennis at 4, Sinner at 12/13. I think Alcaraz has more experience considering he has few thousands more hours on court, but Sinner may have more room for improvement despite being older.

Excellent match, very close, exactly what I want from a final. Okay, so it was a straight sets win, but it was neck and neck the whole time, highly competitive, both sides were of an equally superb standard with their game and shotmaking, and really it could have gone either way when it came to those tiebreaks, theoretically.
