We should be grateful to musicians that are giving us this amazing performances for free on youtube instead of making a senseless comparisons who's performance is better. To have different performances of a piece is "GOLD". Imagine they are all the same...

@minitrigger97 The stands are so low so that they can see each other while playing. Keeping this piece together can be challenging. It helps a lot when you can see each other's hands, too. You'll notice that a lot of chamber music players keep all their stands low so they can see each other over the stands .. trios, quartets and the like.

You can tell the violist was trying to get her to play at a good pace, especially in the beginning

Ok the performance was really good but I couldn't help that I felt tense while listening! The sound didn't feel centered and controlled in certain areas of the music! I have listened to other versions of this piece and the control and syncopation was miles better. Regardless, this was still a really good performance!!!

Janine, why do you hold your violin so much pitched down? My teacher was so eager for me to hold my violin properly.

@@lucasmarques6897 well, that is no answer. It is just her manner to hold it like that, which could have developed because she is tall.

Awesome performance, but the foot stomping on a stage that just amplifies that sound detracts seriously. I couldn't finish watching.
