It's strange to hear Jake speak not with a Spanish accent, he's brilliant, and it's no surprise to me that he was in the entire series along with Janine. Benidorm just creates a warmth and a good feeling in us all, especially in these strange times.

My late wife and I loved Benidorm when we watched it together, however since I lost her in 2017, Benidorm has kept me from going in the dark place so many times. I'm grateful for this. I have lost count the amount of times I've watched all 10 seasons. When the Garvey's left for their fortune in the US (with the brilliant Buck A Roo lol) the show did lose some of its shine, however the characters who took their place, Clive Dyke and his 50ft tall wife Tonya and the Dawson family with the brilliant Bobby Knutt, took up the slack admirably. We holidayed in Benidorm twice (2000 and 2003) so when I watch the show I'm taken back to those happy days. 😊

He was born in Switzerland and moved to Italy when he was young, later in life he moved to the uk! Imagine what he’s seen

Geoff was in series 1 - 3 then 7 - 9 , Noreen was in series 1 - 5 then 7 - 10

Jacqueline wasnt in series 9 episode 1 due to scheduling issues but she returned in episode 2 meaning she only missed 1 episode in the entire series

One of the last things I took my mom to was the live show (She passed last year) but we had a good time, she got a little star struck when Sherrie Hewson came out afterward while we were waiting for our taxi and had a quick chat before heading off to her hotel.

@@mikwns3722 it was pretty good, 7 of the show regulars were present it was a musical so that includes Asa Elliot, along with 3-4 other actors playing the holidaymakers... one of whom was Darren Litten because he was the understudy for the December dates - I assume the other actor had a conflicting schedule.

And I would love to see a WAITING FOR GOD revival with Janine Duvitski coming back as Jane - now a resident at Bayview, now divorced from Harvey and widowed after Geoffrey's death, and giving the new administration nightmares - and Rowan Atkinson from MR. BEAN, BLACKADDER, and MAIGRET as a Tom-like foil to Janine's now Diana-like Jane.
