All of your Dylan covers are excellent! I never thought much of this Dylan song, I'll admit. But with Dylan's lyrics, your voice and accompaniment, this might be the most perfect song ever recorded!

Good Dog I love the music of Dylan and Cohen etc so much sometimes I think they don’t need covering really.. but such great songs need to be sung and heard so I appreciate your comment very much thank you 🙏 xxx

I thought it was about some birds bloke getting deported for "being a wetback".. As for the "sound", it was of clinking yankee dollars. Could be wrong, like. ( Familiar to me, as i migrated for work in the 80's, 200 miles south, 4 hours on a motorway. No hardship. )

bob dylan used the melody for this sang from an auld scots sang...farewell to tarwathie..he used quite a few scottish melodies.
