I was playing in Santa Rosa, NM in about 1985 and met Peter McCann who wrote this song. He told me about it before it was released. Nice guy. He tipped me $20! He also recorded "Do You Wanna Make Love Or Just Fool Around." Big hit in 1977.

Loved this woman since the first time I saw her sing 'Jo & the Cowboy.' Her singing is just icing on the cake.

I'm only in my 20s and believe it or not this is the kind of country music I grew up on. I may not have been alive when these singers was releasing their big hits but there artists will always hold a special place in my heart because no matter how their voices change or their appearances change listening and watching them will always remind me of being a little kid hanging out with my mom and grandma listening to these singers. I will always love this kind of country music above the 90s and newer country because this was country music at its best and these singers were the ones who sang country at its best. So to anyone who says these videos wasn't worth watching remember this without these singers country music would never have seen its best days because most country music nowadays sounds more rock or pop than country.

Wonderful performance! I really dig Janie even some of her stuff is a bit too sweet to my taste. Especially some of the 80s pop stuff. But what a voice. Moreover she is still better looking than many woman on their 20s.

Janie's one of my more recent discoveries when it comes to classic country & for whatever weird unexplained reason, she looks like an extremely ragged-looking Agnetha Faltskog (the blonde woman of ABBA). And after seeing some old photos of Janie, I can say that time has not treated her kindly, though she's still quite beautiful.

Sadly, she seems to have lost much of her voice. Too bad - she always had a wonderful counterpoint to Johnny Duncan's and Charlie Rich's voice.

These reunion shows are sad. Most of them are one hit wonders who hardly anyone has even heard of. They sit around like an old folks home. Shouldn't be video taped.

Darin you obviously don't have a clue. These stars are famous in the Country Western music world and most have had big hits and lots of very successful songs over the years. To see them together in this setting is awesome in that it's a fun setting and they each get to sing one of their hits or whatever song they want. It's the last chance to see some of these people and a jerk like you comes along and badmouths them. You couldn't carry their underwear much less perform a single hit. You aren't even a one hit wonder. Just another strike out in the game of life.
